Steven Paul Smurik  - CHIEF ADMINISTRATOR / PRESIDENT

Your Chief Administrator at the local Starbucks Coffee Shop, at around 6:45 am, drinking coffee, waking up, and contemplating AICVOA affairs.

 

He is a 28 year veteran of the ICVO world.  In 1985 Steven started working on his friend's truck, as a helper - on this 26' straight job.  He was 22 years old, delivering 100 lb. bags of flour to pizzerias, bakeries and bagel shops.  In 1986 he started his own business called  It's There Messenger Service Inc.  He performed SPPD's around the New York City Tri-State Area.  In 1992 he changed the name of his company to Uncle Stevee's Transport Svc. Inc.  He is an Independent Courier / Owner Operator / Van Driver making small package pick-up & deliveries, up and down the east coast and jobs out west.  Utilizing a Regular Cargo Van, pays for all the expenses (standard size 8,600 lbs mgvw).  In 2005, he began doing research, realized that there has to be industry oversight, trying to establish the AICVOA, putting it all together.  In 2010, decisive moves were made.  Today - AICVOA - online !
